The Ever-Growing Mac Palette

Hi. I'm Lizzie and I am obsessed with MAC eyeshadows. It all started the day I had my prom make up done in MAC. With my £30 redeemable voucher I purchased three eyeshadows: Era, Vex and Shadowy Lady, which the lady used on me to create a gorgeous purpley/nude smokey eye. Ever since that day I have been obsessed. The amount of colours they have to choose from is just insane and I think there is something there for everyone, whether it's brights you're after or simple nudes, they've got it all. I'm still in the process of slowly building up my palette and carefully choosing which colours to put in the last five spaces. I would seriously recommend MAC eyeshadows to anyone, purely because they're creamy, blendable and offer probably the best colour range out there.

First row on the left starting at the top (continued order throughout):

Omega: the perfect eyebrow shade for my eyebrows - I use this every day with out fail.
Era: the ''one wash wonder'' if you like - for those natural days when you want no fuss but a pop of colour and be done with.
Vex: in the pan boring and grey, applied to the skin it comes to life, in certain lights it looks green and in others pink. Nice for a highlight or all over the lid to instantly make you look more awake.
Shadowy Lady: matte, dark purple, perfect for blending in the crease and outer V for a dramatic smokey eye for a night out. Can also be used as a liner with an angled brush (great on green eyes for this purpose!)
Woodwinked: a gorgeous shimmery warm gold and which looks great applied all over the lid, blended in the crease to give extra dimension and you're good to go.
Sumptuous Olive: olive green colour, with a golden sheen when blended. I often pair it with Patina or Woodwinked and both look equally amazing.
Patina: light taupe with a golden shimmer. Perfect all over the lid colour for natural days, but can be paired with any other colour and it's almost guaranteed to look great.
Carbon: I use this on an angled brush for my upper lash line to make my lashes look thicker. It can also be used with smokey eyes on the outer V, for example, to add drama.
All That Glitters: gorgeous pinky peachy shimmery base, lovely with Satin Taupe for a subtle/daytime smokey eye.
Satin Taupe: taupe/plum with a silver tone running through it. Looks amazing blended through the crease.
